Citrine's Powers (Steven Universe OC)

I know I've mentioned my OC Citrine's powers before, but I decided to do these few sketches to show how they exactly work.

As I mentioned in my first post, Citrine "has the ability to absorb energy from organic life forms such as plants & animals (which includes humans) and turn them into energy blasts she can fire at her opponents.." All she needs is to come in contact with the organic matter so that she can absorb the energy and drain it into her body. This is mostly done by touching them, which is why she now wears fingerless gloves with a hole that exposes her palm. She can also channel the energy into her staff "for faster & more accurate shots, similar to a machine gun." She does have control of this power and it doesn't happen every time she touches something, so she's subconsciously able to "turn it on & off."

However, there is a dark side effect to Citrine's powers. When she drains energy from organic matter, she also drains their life force and, if she completely sucks them dry, they're left as nothing more than decayed husks. This is shown through the decayed squirrel & the skull she dropped. If she holds onto something for a short period of time, without taking away all of the energy, then the effects are only temporary and the victim will return back to normal anywhere between a half hour to a few days (depending on how long Citrine touched them). The only living things on Earth that are immune to Citrine's powers are Gems & Steven.

Citrine's powers were partly inspired by Rogue from X-Men, as well as Cell & the Androids from Dragon Ball Z. Additionally, the idea originally came from how the Citrine gemstone is meant to increase one's optimism and physical stamina, as well as remove the body of toxins.
